About the Artist

Hello good humans! I am Kimberly the Faerie (she/her), and I am here to bring a touch of whimsy and fantasy to all of your special occasions! If you happened to peruse my Realm of Whimsical Art on this site, you can already see I am an artist in multiple mediums. Adorning the face of myself and others is another long beloved form of self expression that I would love to share with you!

When you book me, you not only get a talented Face Painter, but you get a Character in full costume to elevate your party or event and bring more smiles to your guests' faces! I am happy to adjust my costume theme or colors to match that of your party just as I can adjust my design menu for you! Let's make your event one to remember!

  • Face & Body Paints

    I only use professional, FDA compliant products that are top quality, cosmetic-grade, and hypoallergenic. I NEVER use craft paints or glitters.

    *Everyone is different, so I cannot guarantee a reaction will not occur.*

  • Sanitation

    I maintain sanitary conditions with each job, washing brushes between each use for your health and safety.

    *I cannot paint anyone with sores, open wounds, lice, or any signs of illness.*

  • Insurance

    This is a fully insured company, and I can provide for "Additionally Insured" for large events and companies upon request.

  • Children under 3

    While face paints are tested to be safe on children, it is not recommended for those under the age of 3. For safety and insurance purposes, I will only paint kids 3 and up.

FAQs

What are your rates?

Rates vary depending on the event, length of time, specific needs, and distance. My packages start at $150 for the first hour and $125 for each following hour.

*Events more than 30 minutes away from 75067 will require a minimum booking of 2 hours and incur a travel fee of $15 for every 15 minute interval added.

How many hours should I book for my event?

A typical booking is two hours, painting about 15-25 people. Please consider how many people you will have at your event that will want their faces painted, including adults and children!

Do you bring your own set up?

I bring everything I need with me with the exception of a shaded, covered area for outdoors. Both supplies and artist do require shelter and protection from the elements. If you do not have shelter, I can bring my own for an additional fee. If temperatures are above 99°F then indoor, air conditioned accommodations are required.

**Please be sure to have alternative plans in case of weather. I reserve the right to cease working and leave if there are extreme, dangerous, or adverse working conditions including but not limited to: severe weather, destructive, violent, or extremely inappropriate behavior of a child or adult, illegal activities, and dangerous conditions. This is based on my own discretion.

How far in advance should I book?

It is always best to book as soon as you have the time and date of your event. Last minute bookings cannot always be accommodated and may not include the full costumed character.

How do I pay for my event?

I typically receive payments via Cash, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. I can also accept cards by request through my portable POS system. Final payment is due on arrival to event. If additional time is desired and possible, payment for that time is due immediately before it begins.

I require a $50 non-refundable deposit upon booking agreement that will go toward your total and lock in your date and time. If an emergency arises on my end and I am unable to set you up with an agreeable replacement painter, an exception will obviously be made and the deposit will be refunded!

How do you control the line?

As a painter, my focus must be with the person in my chair to make sure everyone gets an equally wonderful experience! It is best if a line manager can be provided by the host to keep the guests waiting at least 3 feet away from the artist, table, and person being painted. **This also assists with safety and sanitation!**

What areas do you service?

I am in Lewisville, TX 75067 and I can offer my services to anyone in DFW or surrounding areas!

*There is an additional travel fee of $15 for every 15 minute interval over 30 minutes to cover time and mileage expenses.
